We're thinking of it as a wedding weekend.

When family and friends from all over can come together, connect and reconnect, and have a relaxing, joyous time. Come to laugh. Come to cry (tears of joy). Come to hike. And come to shake shake shake your booty on the dance floor.

SATURDAY - Sept. 4, 2010 - The Big Event in the Wine Country

The wedding will begin at 5:00pm on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Cornerstone Gardens in Sonoma, California.

Driving Directions: Driving directions are included in your invitation, and can be found on Cornerstone Gardens' website.

Shuttle: For those who requested the shuttle (you would have received an email confirmation from us!), we will have two pick-ups:

  • Downtown San Francisco at 3:00pm sharp - at the Marriott Marquis - 55 4th Street, San Francisco, CA (The bus will pick people up from the side entrance of the hotel - Mission and 4th)
  • Downtown Sausalito at 3:30 sharp - The Casa Madrona (801 Bridgeway Sausalito, CA 94965)

The shuttle will leave Cornerstone Gardens at 11:00pm, and retrace its route stopping first at the Casa Madrona in Sausalito and then the Marriott Marquis in San Francisco. These hotels are centrally located, so even if you are not staying at one of them you could easily get to them from your hotel.

Useful info for wedding:

Please come in cocktail attire, but be aware that the ceremony takes place on a grass lawn so wear appropriate footwear. The weather in Sonoma can be quite hot during the day but usually cools down significantly at night so please bring layers.

SUNDAY - Sept. 5, 2010 - Post-Wedding Brunch and Hike in Marin

The celebration doesn't end on the day of our wedding!

We'll be having a post-wedding brunch at 11am at the home of David and Emily Broom in Sausalito (118 Spencer Ave. Sausalito, CA 94965). Directions are included in your invitation and also here.

After some tasty food, we'll head off to Mt. Tamalpais for an approximately three hour hike -- catching some redwoods, ocean views, and glorious trails. It's a special place for both of us -- so you have to join! The plan is to hike from the Mountain Home Inn parking lot along Matt Davis Trail to Nora Trail to the West Point Inn, and then back to the parking lot along Old Railroad Grade.
